Egypt has stores with exquisite pure perfumes (without alcohol) where you can hear a explanation of the manufacturing process in ancient times as well – how they squeezed the flowers to create perfumes, as the perfumes were very important and holy, used during daily life and for purification. In addition there are excellent stores for purchasing papyrus rolls and paintings with explanations as to how the ancient Egyptians converted this plant to papyrus paper used for writing.
